To mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the launch of the World Wide Web, The Seattle Playwrights Collective presents iPlayz: Life and Death in the Digital Age.

Supported in part by the Seattle Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs, iPlayz features a variety of short plays by Puget Sound region playwrights that promises to provide audiences with an engaging evening of comedies and dramas that explore the many ways digital media has impacted every facet of our lives from birth to death.

The lineup for this evening of digitally themed shorts includes –

Social Etitech by Ellen Donbeck, OMD by RE Perlman, Mr. Nerp by Peter Cook, Momware by Craig Kenworthy, Memorial by Machelle Allman, Audio Play by John C. Davenport, Reggie Show by Daniel Tarker, Anatomy of a Text Message by Jaryl Draper, and Always On by Andrew Lee Creech. Direction provided by Roy Arauz, Jen Moon, and Daniel Tarker.

The ensemble features Terry Boyd, Geb Brown, Gretchen Douma, Erin Ison, Jordi Montes, Shane Regan, Madison Marie Rengli and Evan Louis Thomas.

The design team includes Samantha Armitage (Costumes) Theodore Michael Dolas (Lights), Cynthia Kelly (Stage Management), Lilliana Krynska (Props), Kim Rosin (Set), and David Torres (Sound).
