Nationally-known monologist Mike Daisey reminded us of the history of the Northwest Actor's Studio
(Annex's new home) and the wonderful but tragic story of the woman who created it.
Mike said that it was from her that he received his first compliment as a performer:
"You have so much determination!" He said that returning here brought back
visceral memories of outlandish improvisations that lasted for days.
"It was the best time I ever spent in a theater," he said.
