This play features mature themes and discussion of suicide.
Athena, a researcher struggling through academic disgrace in the post-post-apocalypse, unearths findings of an ancient tribe of botanists with extraordinary methods to make plants grow. She connects with these survivors through space and time, watching helplessly as their society is devastated by an encroaching cultural amnesia and the botanists are threatened with mass extinction. Athena must try to find a way to bring their stories back to life in the present day.
