GELSIE

Sophie (she/her) is extremely excited to be working with Annex for the first time! Some of her most recent work includes Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party with Sound Theatre Company, Spring Awakening at the 5th Avenue Theatre, and Rocky the Musical at Tacoma Little Theatre. A huge thank you goes out to her family and friends for their endless love and support.

ROSA

Cadie (she/her) is excited to take up the role as “the manic pixie dream girl” Rosa. In her spare time she can be found enjoying the same things as her character, going out with friends, being with her sister, and not taking life too seriously (and studying politics) She has acted previously in High School but this will be her adult debut!

DIANE & TAVIA

Kenly Long (she/her) is thrilled to make her Annex debut! She is a Seattle-based performer holding a BA in theatre from the University of Arkansas. Kenly has most recently worked with Goodo Productions, Broken Chain Productions, and RynoRyder Media. Other credits of hers include the End of The World Place (Copious Love) 1999 (Valdez Theatre Conference), Rollie Pollie (University of Arkansas), The Sleepover Play (Three Winks Productions). She would like to thank all the lovely creatives involved in Deadheading for welcoming here into this fairy tale!

JOSTA

Elizabeth Shields (she/her) most recently appeared in the Seattle staged reading of "Drowned Cats" for Blue Hour Theatre. Other Seatlle appearances include As If's "Kenmore Quickies", Bleeker Street Playhouse", and Lear x 3', "The Lost Object", both for Baker Theater Wksp, A veteran of Chicago Theatre, and many NY (way off) Broadway productions.

MOTHER & MS. NEPENTHE

Kaelyn Langer Mendonca (she/her) is a multi-hyphenate artist with 30 years of experience. She has worked as an actor, director, arts administrator, educator, and artistic leader in New York and Washington State. Her passion lies in creating complex characters and telling important stories that resonate with audiences. A native New Yorker and now based in Seattle Kaelyn thrives in collaborative, open, and brave spaces. She is also the co-founder of Bleecker Street Playhouse.

MR. BOLTING & DARTER

Justin (he/him) returns to the stage after nearly a decade, with performance roots in productions including You Can’t Take It With You, Oliver!, Seussical, Libby's Montana City Old Town Opera House’s summer vaudeville revues, and The Nutcracker. His work as an actor grew alongside a love for community-centered storytelling. Now on staff at Annex Theatre, Justin champions experimental storytelling at every level, working to ensure these bold stories begin reaching people long before the curtain opens and hopefully last long after it closes.

ANDREW & DANIO

Gabriel Zuniga (he/him) is so excited to be working with Annex Theatre for the first time with so many talented people. He loves being a part of new works, and is so grateful to be working on Deadheading. He recently had the privilege of performing with Seattle Children’s Theatre in The Pigeon Gets a Big Time Holiday Extravaganza as Zappy Squirrel and understudying as the Pigeon. Love to Petra, Pattie, and Dad.

STAGE DIRECTIONS

Jozefa (she/they) is a lover of storytelling, whether it be writing poems and horror short stories to creating tabletop roleplay games for my friends. They have previously written and starred in a one-act drag play but this is their first time since then being part of another show. She is very excited to be here and have so many great friends in our production!
