Playwright
Miranda Mars
Miranda Mars (she/her) is a writer, actress, and occasional internet comedian. She lives in Seattle with her sister, and her one-eyed cat, Soup, who did his very best to keep her from finishing this play, through such behavior as sitting on her hands and keyboard while she was typing. Deadheading is the second play she's written to be produced. The first, Withered All, is available to watch on YouTube.
Director
Lillie Wirth
Lillie (they/them) is thrilled to be making their Annex directorial debut with this reading! Lillie studied directing and sound design at Sarah Lawrence College. You may have previously seen their sound design work in "Blue to Blue" and "The Game Show" at Annex, or in "A Klingon Christmas Carol" with Latitude Theatre. They also recently directed "Devon is Definitely a Vampire" with Latitude as part of the "Framing Device: The Edvard Munch Plays" short play festival. They would like to thank Miranda for creating such a rich fairytale world to play in and the cast for bringing that world to life.
