Annex Theatre accepts rolling, urgent proposals for events responding to current social, political, ecological, or cultural crises. This can be a performance, a workshop, a conversation, a ritual, a gathering—whatever your body and community need.
Who This Is For
We especially prioritize:
People targeted by harmful political climates
Marginalized communities
BIPOC, queer, disabled, undocumented, and vulnerable voices
Anyone needing a creative container for grief, rage, action, or hope
What Annex Provides
Free use of our 86-seat theater (with a few logistical notes)
Full basic tech support:
Stage lighting
Sound board
Projector
Music stands, chairs, blocks
Option to live-stream the event
On-site staff member
Pay-What-You-Can box office
Lobby access, concessions, and support
Event marketing when appropriate
